Candice Nell and Chris Cwik were married Oct. 13 at the East Wenatchee home of Jay and Debbie Nell, parents of the bride.

Rev. John Sterk officiated the ceremony.

His parents are Michael and Patricia Cwik of Spokane.

A reception followed at the home.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Chelan for two nights and are planning a longer honeymoon next summer.

They are living in Spokane.

She graduated from Eastmont High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Eastern Washington University and a master’s degree in education from Whitworth University. She is a kindergarten teacher in the Cheney School District.

He graduated from Mead High School in Spokane. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in communications. He is a paramedic in Spokane.
