THIS BAND WILL ALSO CONTAIN SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL RATES THAT COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

3 Cascade teams advance to state

An intense burst of positive energy has been crackling through the hallways of Cascade High School during the past couple of weeks. Athletic director Elia Ala’ilima-Daley can’t say for sure that the good feelings have been directly caused by the success of the school’s fall sports teams, but he knows that the squads’ collective prosperity certainly hasn’t hurt matters. For what is believed to be the first time in school history, all three of the Kodiaks’ fall sports squads have qualified for their respective 1A state tournaments in the same school year.
