Leavenworth opens box office for “A Christmas Carol”

The holiday season for Leavenworth Summer Theater is coming up. The theater company opened its box office Tuesday to sell tickets for its December production, “A Christmas Carol.”
Directed by Maren Cagle, the play will weave the classic Dickens tale with Kent Salter as Ebenezer Scrooge, Brian Hollander as Bob Cratchit and Taran Iwaasa as Tiny Tim. The show will be staged at the FestHalle Theater in downtown Leavenworth. Performances are 8 p.m. Dec. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15 and 1 p.m. on Dec. 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16.
Tickets are $16-$20. Children under five are not admitted. For more information, visit leavenworthsummertheater.org or call the box office 4-7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday.
