Family Literacy Night

WENATCHEE — College students studying elementary education will have books at ready to read to kids and raffle off at Family Literacy Night on Tuesday.
The family event, organized by Central Washington University-Wenatchee, will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. at John Newbery Elementary. Children of all ages are welcome.
Organizer Amber Mason said at least 10 college students will be there to read. This is the first year the Wenatchee campus has hosted Family Literacy Night after three successful years on the Ellensburg campus.
