Ashley Jones and Samuel Garcia Jr., both of Wenatchee, have announced their engagement.

She is the daughter of Hank Jones and Jill Jones, both of East Wenatchee. His parents are Carmen Yolanda Osuna of Wenatchee and Samuel Garcia of Palm Desert, Calif.

She graduated from Eastmont High School in 2005. She attended Wenatchee Valley College. She is a toddler teacher at Valley Christian Center of Learning in Wenatchee.

He attended Indio High School in Indio, Calif. He is a strapper at McDougall’s and Sons in Wenatchee.

A May 11 wedding at the fountain in front of the Wenatchee Convention Center is planned.
