Help needed with foster kids’ Christmas project
Wednesday, November 14, 2012
WENATCHEE — The Chelan-Douglas Court Appointed Special Advocate Program is sponsoring a Christmas stocking project for area foster children and needs volunteers to help decorate and fill the stockings.
Those wanting to participate in the project may:
• Pick up a Christmas stocking from the CASA office, 431 Douglas St., decorate it and fill it with unwrapped toys and nonperishable food items.
• Pick up a pattern at the office and sew a Christmas stocking.
• Donate money and/or items to the Christmas stocking project and we will fill a stocking for you.
For more information, call 662-7350 or email arleneg@nwi.net.
