Deputies search for missing man
Friday, November 16, 2012
TONASKET — Okanogan County Sheriff’s deputies are asking the public’s help in finding Arturo Arciga-Galvin, 27, of Tonasket.
Arciga-Galvin was last seen on Nov. 8 at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket, where he was referred to a mental health office, said Undersheriff Joe Somday.
He said Arciga-Galvin did show up at the office, but has not been seen since.
He lives near Thompson Orchards in Tonasket near a brother and nephew.
Somday said another brother came to Tonasket from California to try to find him, and contacted the sheriff’s office on Tuesday.
Deputies and a county search and rescue team searched the surrounding area on foot and along the banks of the Okanogan River by boat, but have not located him.
He does not have a car or credit cards, and left his wallet with his driver’s license, Somday said.
Anyone who may have seen Arciga-Galvin is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 422-7232.
