Amanda Velasquez and Kevin Vickers were married Oct. 20 at their Kennewick home.

The Rev. Stacey Miles officiated the ceremony.

She is the daughter of Venancio Velasquez of Wenatchee and the late Mary Velasquez. His parents are Barbara Vickers of Ogden, Utah, and the late Richard Vickers.

A reception followed at the home.

The newlyweds are planning a honeymoon to Hawaii in December.

They are living in Kennewick.

She graduated from WestSide High School in 2003 and from the Academy of Hair Design in Wenatchee in 2006. She is a cosmetologist in Kennewick.

He graduated from Ogden High School in 2002. He works for Railex in Wallula.
