Alexander Yaste and Naomi Callahan

Naomi Callahan and Alexander Yaste, both of Spokane, have announced their engagement.

She is the daughter of Edward Callahan of Ellensburg and Jennifer Callahan of Spokane. His parents are William and Scarlette Yaste of Bluffton, Ind.

She graduated from Cashmere High School in 2006. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute in Spokane in 2012. She is a full-time nanny for a family in Spokane.

He completed homeschooling in 2008. He is a student in the mission aviation program at Moody Bible Institute in Spokane.

A Dec. 8 wedding in Spokane is planned.
