Oct. 21. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. SPACE NEEDLE CELEBRATION — The Space Needle is calling for employees past and present to come celebrate their shared history on the 50th anniversary of its building for the World's Fair.

Oct. 22. 10:30 a.m. MAYOR STORM DEMO — Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn and Take Winter By Storm representatives will tour a South Seattle residence for a hands-on demonstration of what people can do to prepare their homes and neighborhoods for wet winter weather. A Seattle Public Utilities representative will demonstrate how to unclog a flooded storm drain to prevent localized flooding.
