WENATCHEE — There’s something new happening at wenatcheeworld.com.
Once a week, Eastmont High School senior Bobby Liu will be posting a video of community events, entertainment or anything else new and interesting in the Wenatchee Valley.
He is taking a cinematography class at Wenatchee Valley Technical Skills Center. He hopes the experience will help him document the interesting facets of the valley.
“Anything can be wonderful if it has a story and some good shots,” Liu said in an email. “That’s the beauty of film-making.”
His first video this week covers the Fresh Air Fest, an event on Oct. 20 organized by the Red Cross to celebrate post-fire fresh air and thank the firefighters.
The event featured local bands Mugsy’s Groove and Patrick Foster and the Locomotive, plus visiting bands Cody Beebe and the Crooks and the Good Luck Number.
