Omak school board seeks new member

OMAK — The Omak School District is looking for applicants to fill a vacant seat on the school board.
The District 4 seat has been vacant since John Sloan resigned this summer due to health reasons.
Applications are available at the district office, and must be returned by 3 p.m. on Nov. 9.
Anyone appointed to the post would serve the remainder of the unexpired term, ending in November 2013, when the position will be up for reelection.
