Bledsoe to speak at Cashmere Veterans event
Mac Bledsoe will be the featured speaker for a Veterans Day assembly, Nov. 9, at Cashmere High School. The assembly and talk is open to the public.
Bledsoe is a former teacher, coach and now a motivational speaker. He’s the son of late state lawmaker and Director of Agriculture Stu Bledsoe and the father of former Washington State University and NFL quarterback Drew Bledsoe. Founder of the “Parenting with Dignity” school curriculum and the Drew Bledsoe Foundation, Mac Bledsoe often speaks at school and Veterans Day events.
The assembly will include a parade of veterans, the Cashmere High School Band and Choirs, and a student march from Vale Elementary School to the high school, with a lunch for veterans to follow.
The free public event begins at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9 in the Ron Doane Gymnasium.
