Cashmere shooting death under investigation

CASHMERE — A 76-year-old man was found dead, the apparent result of a gunshot wound, on the 5100 block of Moody Road, Cashmere, Friday morning.

The Chelan County Sheriffs Department is investigating the death as a possible homicide, said Cpl. Jason Reinfeld. The body was reported at 10:45 a.m. Friday. No other information was available Saturday due to the ongoing investigation.
