PENDLETON, Ore. — Suffering its first Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges East Region loss Friday didn’t appear to affect the Wenatchee Valley College softball team in its doubleheader against Blue Mountain on Saturday. A day after seeing its 37-game East winning streak end with a loss to Treasure Valley in the second game of a doubleheader, the second-ranked Knights posted two blowout wins over the Timberwolves — they won the first game 13-5 and the second 14-1.
