Dr. Ken L. Klenzman

March 17, 1953 ~ July 26, 2013

Ken passed away on Friday, July 26 at Tuscany Cottage Adult Family Home in Malaga, WA. He was born to Laverne and Dorothy Klenzman in Yakima, WA. He attended schools in Wenatchee and graduated from WHS in 1971. He was very active in many sports throughout his school days including, football, baseball and basketball. He wa an avid skier, windsurfer, golfer and scuba diver. Ken graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, IA in 1975. He lived on Alta Lake and practiced in Brewster, WA for 36 years. To all of his family and friends, he was known as generous, kind, caring and fun to be around. The communities of Brewster and Pateros held a special place in Ken’s heart and he was grateful for the many friends and patients and especially for Judy Cogar, his assistant.

Ken is survived by his sisters, Kay (Don) Berdan of Wenatchee, WA, Kathy Leitner (Rollin) Hayslip of Vancouver, WA; niece, Lindsey Berdan of Seattle, WA; nephew, Garrett (Lynette) Berdan and Louis of Bend, OR; cousins, Dave (Susan) Mullen of East Wenatchee, WA, Karen (Bob) Colling of Leavenworth, WA, Sherry (Jerry) Strang of Kirkland, WA; and numerous Klenzman cousins in Iowa.

The family would like to than the excellent caregivers and owners of Tuscany Cottage, Karl Lambert, ARNP and the many friends who stopped in to say hello and give encouragement. Ken was cared for with grace and dignity by all of them through the most difficult of times.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Wenatchee Cemetery, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Brewster Food Bank, P.O. Box 826, Brewster, WA 98812 will be welcomed. Arrangements are assisted by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
