Want to live a lot longer? According to a Pew Research study, a majority of us don’t.
Our average age currently is 78.7 years, and has been creeping up over the years.
The study reported that most of us would like to live to 90, which is a pretty good stretch. Some of us are already there.
Our family has had oldsters, with both my Nebraska grandfathers exceeding 90 years. I am looking ahead to 94 in September, and my sister Kathryn turned 92 this spring.
Why us? Good question.
Living to 120 doesn’t appeal to me, so I’ll agree with the majority.
In the meantime, I’m up for a party any day.
