WENATCHEE — A report of a non injury accident turned out to be much more when Wenatchee Police arrived at the scene near Town Toyota Center a little after 8 p.m. Monday.
Police arrested Bryan Holmer, 29, Cashmere, after finding him trying to remove a delivery truck from a chain link fence.
The vehicle turned out to be a Masco delivery truck stolen from Gail Contracting Co. at 400 S. Worthen St. earlier. The company didn’t know the truck was missing until police called to find out if Holmer worked for the company as he claimed. He didn’t, said Sgt. Jim West.
Holmer was booked into Chelan County Regional Justice Center on suspicion of first degree possession of stolen property and second degree malicious mischief.
