A landslide that filled the Peshastin Irrigation Ditch with debris has caused an overflow that is threatening at least four Dryden-area homes.
Chelan County Undersheriff John Wisemore said the threatened homes are in the 8000 block of Hall Road near Dryden.
He said four homes are being flooded, and the water is heading to many more. Sheriff’s office emergency managers are not yet on the scene. The Apple Valley Chapter of the Red Cross has been notified.
He said he’ll have more information as it becomes avaliable.
