Beth Hayes has successfully completed a Health Coach Certificaion Exam, in partnership with Villanova University College of Nursing and the MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and Education. Hayes coaches clients using a comprehensive approach to a healthy weight and optimal health.
Sarah Bluher, PTA, ATRIC, physical therapy assistant at Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth, recently received extensive education and training in aquatic therapy, and earned a certificate of proficiency, from the Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute.
New jobs, new faces
Deidra Schriver has joined Studio 228, at 228 S. Mission St., as a hair stylist.
John Hennessy recently joined Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth as its chief financial officer (CFO). He previously was CFO at Dayton General Hospital in Dayton. He replaces Diane Blake, who was named chief executive officer of Cascade Medical Center earlier this year.
Thom Kutrich , P.E., has joined Pacific Engineering & Design’s civil engineering team. Thom’s 25 years of experience include design and management of transportation, irrigation, water and development projects.
Licensed Massage Therapist, Ryan Edwards, recently joined DeCamp Toftness Chiropractic Clinic in Wenatchee. Edwards has been in practice for over nine years and specializes in many techniques, including: clinical/recovery massage, Ashiatsu Massage, TMJ/jaw treatment and structural relief therapy.
Clarissa Whitehall has joined DeCamp Toftness Chiropractic Clinic as a massage therapist. She is trained in Swedish relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, sports massage, hot stone, pregnancy massage and reflexology. She graduated from WVC with an AAS degree in 2009 and completed a 700-hour course at Columbia River Institute of Massage Therapy in 2012.
Kara Johnson is a Licensed Massage Therapist is also a new member of the team of DeCamp Toftness Chiropractic Clinic. She has been doing massage since 2008 and is a specialist in Pregnancy and Therapeutic massage.
The Community Foundation of NCW welcomed six new board members to their team last month. They are Hank Manriquez, Ron Skagen, Mike Stancil, Mike Steele, Darci Waterman and Anne White. Appreciation was also expressed to two outgoing board members, Robert White and Mary C. Murphy.
Gordon D. Schuster, LUTCF, MA, has been named a member of the 2013 President’s Council of New York Life. Members of the Council are among the top eight percent of NYL’s sales force of 12,250. Schuster is also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an international and independent association of life insurance and financial services professionals.
