WENATCHEE — The biggest traffic impacts will occur today and Tuesday during a project to resurface Miller Street.
Crews are laying tar and rocks on the road starting at the intersection of Crawford Street north to Springwater Avenue.
City Engineer Gary Owen said the contractor should complete one whole lane from Crawford to Springwater today, and the other lane on Tuesday. About four or five blocks will be closed at any given time while the work is being done.
Sections of the road will also be closed for short periods on Thursday and Friday while a seal is applied to the roadway.
No parking will be allowed on Miller Street through Friday.
Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid long delays on Miller Street and side streets.
