WENATCHEE — The American Cancer Society is hosting a kickoff event Thursday to encourage North Central Washington residents to enroll in the Society’s Cancer Prevention Study-3.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Wenatchee Valley Medical Center Sleep Center Conference Room, 1000 N. Miller St.
Men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer are needed for the study. Researchers are seeking to better understand the lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.
