WVC hoops: Knights men go 1-2 at Skagit tourney

MOUNT VERNON – The Wenatchee Valley College men’s basketball team lost to Clackamas 82-71 on Sunday to finish the three-day Skagit Valley Tournament with a 1-3 record.

Against the Cougars, Jason Dresker entered the starting lineup and scored a season-high 23 points. Aaron Ward had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Knights (2-4), who were down by 29 points at halftime but outscored Clackamas 48-30 in the second half, shooting 57 percent from the field.
