WENATCHEE — One of the reasons that the transition from high school to college can be tough on athletes is the fact that at the collegiate level, some players will have to come off the bench. It’s an unfamiliar role for most of them, a role that requires a different mindset than they came to their college programs with.

It appears as though the Wenatchee Valley College women’s basketball team has players on its roster that are capable of not only accepting their reserve role, but thriving in it.
