WENATCHEE — When Wenatchee Wild coach Bliss Littler addressed the locker room after his team’s Saturday’s 5-4 shootout loss to Johnstown at the Town Toyota Center, he asked what went wrong.

In unison, the players responded: Breakout turnovers.

Wenatchee came up short in a shootout, but in all fairness, it was lucky to be in that position to begin with.

“I thought we played awful well,” Littler said. “We had four breakout turnovers and all four went in the net.”
