Gordon Benjamin Beadell

Bridgeport, WA

Gordon Benjamin Beadell of Bridgeport, died tragically at the age of 81 on November 11, 2013. He grew up on his grandfather’s (Arch Fuller) homestead just above the school in Pateros and was a student there. Many of his classmates still remember Gordon “galloping” down the bank to school, making it just before the last bell rang. His adventurous life had many ups and downs, but his favorite time was his “Mountain Man” era and panning for gold in the Mazama area.

Preceding him in death were his father, Charles “Chuck” Beadell; mother, Ruth Fuller Morrow; and sister, Gayle Beadell Poole. Surviving are his children, Stella Lumberas, Christina Hobart, and Benny Beadell; several cousins, including Roy and Donna Beadell of Bridgeport and his forever friend of many years, Sharon Wilfong. No services will be held.
