’Tis the season to create a fragrant, interesting wreath to brighten your front door. It’s not a difficult project and can be very inexpensive if you have a source for cutting some greens and gathering other natural materials.

For supplies, start with a sturdy wire frame or grapevine wreath. Local craft stores have them, although you can form your own from coat hanger wire or grapevines — but it takes some effort. Pruners, wire cutters, gloves and paddle wire are the other essentials.
