They were married 65 years and were blessed with five wonderful children. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Glenn was a resident of Wenatchee for 48 years, and employed by Safeway Stores for 37 years. He first managed the South End Safeway and transferred to the North End Safeway store in Wenatchee from 1965 to 1985, when he retired. He was a former member of the Wenatchee Country Club and Three Lakes Golf Club, as well as a former member of the Wenatchee Rotary Club and served as President of the Toppenish Rotary Club. Glenn dearly loved his family. He was a people person who enjoyed the public and was forever grateful to his Safeway employees for making his Safeway career such a huge success.
