He served in the Navy during WWII. Jim married the love of his life, Vanna O’Dell, in Everett on April 4, 1946. They raised their family in Everett until moving to Wenatchee in 1963. Jim was in Elks Club management before spending most of his career at Crystal Linen Supply as a route salesman. Jim was a former member of the Elks, Teamsters and Leavenworth Golf Club. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for St. Patrick’s Day and a good cigar. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his son, Jim, Jr. (Kay), daughter, Maureen and son, Michael, all of Wenatchee; his granddaughters, Amy (Mike) Thomason and Audrey (Aaron) Bessonette of Cashmere; four great-grandchildren, Payton and Dylan Thomason and Ellie and Ethan Bessonette; along with two sisters-in-law, Celeste Geary and Deeda Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vanna; and brothers, Dean and Ronald.

At his request, there will be No Services. Please express your thoughts and memories on the online guestbook at jonesjonesbetts.com. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee, WA.
