Alan ‘Big Al’ Adamek

Alan “Big Al” Adamek, 64, of Wenatchee died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.

He was a Wenatchee area resident for 47 years. He worked for Safeway until 1975 when he became a draft salesman for Milnor Distributing (later Burns Distributing and B&F Distributing), retiring in 2006. He had worked for Cintas for the last seven years.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen Adamek of Wenatchee; his children, Scott Adamek of East Wenatchee, Kelley Torrez of Yelm and Kerry Bergstrom of Malaga; his mother, Jessie Adamek of East Wenatchee; and his sisters, Marlane Gurnard of East Wenatchee, Sandy Payne of Olympia and Laurie Youso of Libby, Mont.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
