Ken and Delta Wood of East Wenatchee celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering and dinner on Feb. 2.
Delta Telford married Ken Wood Feb. 7, 1953, at the Wenatchee home of Hulda Thompson, her aunt.
The couple have lived in East Wenatchee during their marriage.
They are the parents of two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Don Gilbert of Deer Park and Deanne and Gary Langston of East Wenatchee, and two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Anna Wood of Spokane and Greg and Ceci Wood of East Wenatchee.
They have 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She worked for J.C. Penney Co. and Sears in Wenatchee. She also worked for the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce. She retired as secretary for the Wenatchee Applarians in 1996.
He worked for the state highway department. He retired from Farwest Services in East Wenatchee in 1992.
