OMAK — Authorities say an 88-year-old Omak man whose daughter found him dead on Feb. 9 was beaten and stabbed to death.
Leonard K. Miller suffered a severe beating and multiple stab wounds, said Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers.
Miller was found in his single-wide trailer at 33 Brooks Tract Road. His stolen pickup truck was later located in East Omak.
An autopsy last week determined that the trauma to his head and several stab wounds caused his death, Rogers said. “We’re working day and night on this,” he said.
He said detectives have no suspects, but are chasing several leads.
The Washington State Patrol crime lab has put a priority status on analyzing evidence from the scene, Rogers said.
