3-year-old dies in house fire in Lind

LIND, Wash. (AP) — A 3-year-old girl has died in a house fire in the Columbia Basin town of Lind.

The fire occurred Wednesday evening.

Firefighters were able to pull the child from the burning house, but she suffered burns over a large portion of her body. She was pronounced dead at Harborview Medical Center.
