Link seeks student ‘Transit Ambassadors’
Link Transit is recruiting a team of student “Transit Ambassadors” to learn about the benefits of public transportation, develop a marketing campaign and serve as advocates in their schools.
Ambassador candidates must be 14 or older by March 15, which is also the deadline to apply. They may come from any school within Link’s service area. Two to three ambassadors will be chosen from each school.
Students selected will receive six hours of training and will be featured in Link’s media campaigns in print and on the radio. Each will receive a free Student Freedom Pass, valued at $120 and must promote and sell the passes as a fundraiser for their schools.
For more information, visit www.linktransit.com or call 664-7624.
