Wenatchee man injured in two-vehicle crash near Sunnyslope
A Wenatchee man was injured Monday when his vehicle was hit by another vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign on Lower Sunnyslope Road and Highway 2.
Alejandro Carranza, 57, Wenatchee, was transported to Central Washington Hospital after the accident, which occurred at 10:55 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol. He was treated and released.
Carranza was driving west on Highway 2 when Bryan Mauch Blankenship, 21, Wenatchee, driving south on Lower Sunnyslope Road, failed to yield to a stop sign and ran into Carranza’s vehicle. Mauch Blankenship, who was not injured, was charged with failure to yield to traffic.
