ServSafe certification training set for Jan. 16

EAST WENATCHEE — The Washington State University Extension and the Chelan-Douglas Health District have planned a ServSafe certification for restaurant managers, cooks and anyone who has responsibility for food safety.
The training will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 16 at the health district, 200 Valley Mall Parkway in East Wenatchee.
Cost for the seven-hour course, including the textbook and test, is $130. Successful completion of the course includes a certificate for five years.
Registration is required and class size is limited. Registration should be received by Jan. 9 to ensure each person has a textbook.
