Bonnie Schroeder photo

Marley, a 5-year old sun conure, is caught red-handed by his owner in the family’s Christmas tree right before it took a tumble. “All the sparkly, shiny things proved too tempting to resist for him,” said Bonnie Schroeder. The Quincy woman snapped this photo of her bird last month. Marley is a feathered family member that also belongs to her husband, Al Schroeder. The Schroeders’ pets also include a quaker parrot named Lucy and a cat named Serenity.
