Burn victims identified; still hospitalized
Monday, January 7, 2013
PESHASTIN — A man and woman burned in a house fire Friday evening remained in the burn unit at Harborview Medical Center this morning.
Cary Corrick was in serious condition, and Nicole Goehner was in satisfactory condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, said Phil Mosher, chief of Chelan County Fire District 6.
The fire, which was reported at 5:17 p.m., was at 10245 Highway 2, which is just north of the Peshastin bridge and is on the west side of the Wenatchee River. Mosher said the fire gutted the upper floor of the two-story building.
The man and woman, whose ages were not available, were out of the house when fire crews arrived. Mosher said he did not know how they got out of the house.

I was the first person on scene and was the one who called 911. I also happen to be an EMT. The patients said that they were able to run out of the house when the fire first started.

That address can be either east of west of the Peshastin bridge and on the north or south side of the Wenatchee river, not the direction you gave! I hope they make a full recovery.

Take a good look at a map or Google Earth, Lonestar, and I believe you will find that the river runs pretty much north and south at that point which makes your statement incorrect. I'd say that Ms. Riggs description is much closer to the fact than yours. Look it up. It may surprise you.
