Super Oval to return this spring
Wednesday, January 9, 2013
EAST WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval will have auto racing in 2013.
The Super Oval, which ended the 2012 season with a message on its website stating it had raced its last race ever in September, will begin its season on April 27.
The track will continue to be owned by Garrett Evans, a frequent participant in WVSO races himself.
“We are so glad to be back for another season, keeping the tradition of summer stock car racing in the Wenatchee Valley,” Evans said in a press release.
The season will run through Sept. 21, and will be highlighted by several races by the Pro All-Star Series Super Late Model class.
The Super Oval is offering three season pass options for the upcoming season at www.wvso.com, ranging in price from $64 to $139.
