Wilf Woods: Many have a hand in Pybus project
Tuesday, January 29, 2013
The Pybus Market project is moving along, with windows and doors installed, giving the place a semi-finished look. The Port of Chelan County’s financial investment in the project will be done next month, with the Walkers finishing the job. A small storage building has been built just north of the main structure, which will have an eight by sixteen-foot walk-in cooler to keep surplus food from the farmers market for the local food bank.
Steve Robinson furnished me a list of the sub-contractors on the job, mostly local firms, hired by the general contractor, Blodgett. Major subs include Allemandi for earthwork, Matco for sheet metal, Chelan Glass for windows and aluminum doors, Plumbco for fire protection, Wells and Wade Mechanical for HVAC and Iblings Electric for electrical. Others include Raven Glass for the storefront, All Doors & Hardware for doors, Overhead Door Co. for overhead doors, American Quality Coatings for paint, Precise Plumbing for toilet partitions and Brad Brisbine as the architect.
Robinson says the work is on schedule for a spring opening.

Don't forget to mention the store that supplies the construction companies with metal. CD'A Metals have supplied Matco, Blodgett, Plumbco, and Wells and Wade with a significant amount of material for their respective projects.
Sincerely, Robert Gebhard, CD'A Metals

Thanks for your note. I have confined the list to those furnished by Pybus, but you are right that many others including your company are secondary suppliers of this project. My congratulations to your firm. wilfred
