...HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE NORTHERN CASCADES... .A BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN THE CASCADES FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON. THIS BAND WILL ALSO CONTAIN SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL RATES THAT COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

Charles A. “Chuck” Rinker, 81, of East Wenatchee, died Monday, July 1, 2013.

He had been a resident of East Wenatchee for 47 years and was a teacher at Cass Lake High School in Cass Lake, Minn., then at Omak Junior High School, and then he taught and was vice principal at Eastmont Junior High School, retiring in 1991.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Rinker of East Wenatchee; and his children, Eric Rinker of Issaquah, Kevin Lee of East Wenatchee, Gretchen Hillman of Lynnwood and Eric Lee of Port Orchard.

A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee.
