...WINTER STORM FOR MUCH OF THE REGION POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEK... .A LONG PERIOD OF LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL ADD UP TO POSSIBLE MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER A 24 TO 36 HOUR PERIOD. ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL BEGIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON IN THE CASCADES AND BEGINNING THURSDAY EVENING OVER THE REST OF THE REGION. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF OVER MOST AREAS BY LATE FRIDAY...SNOW SHOWERS

Carmen Luna, 51, of East Wenatchee, died Monday, July 1, 2013.

He had resided in East Wenatchee for 14 years and was an orchard foreman, working at various orchards before working for Mike Addleman Orchards.

Survivors include his wife, Consuelo Luna of East Wenatchee; his children, Andrea Luna of East Wenatchee and Paulina Luna of Wenatchee; and his siblings, Herminia Luna of Anaya, Calif., Zenaida Luna of Florida, Maria DeJesus of Cortez, Calif., Lourdes Torres and Luis Luna, both of East Wenatchee, Eva Anaya of Chelan, Rafael Luna of California, Juana Rodriguez and Antonio Luna, both of Manson, and Graciela Diaz of Wenatchee.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the River of Life Foursquare Church in Wenatchee, with interment following at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Memorial Chapel.

Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
