Merilynn A. Wilson

Merilynn A. Wilson, 90, of Port Townsend, and formerly of Omak, died Saturday, June 29, 2013.

She had resided in Port Townsend for 20 years and in Omak for 47 years. She and her husband, Bruce, had published the Omak Chronicle from 1957 to 1975, and then they published the Ritzville Journal-Times.

Survivors include her children, Chris Fisk of Portland, Ore., Duff Wilson of New York, N.Y., Scott Wilson of Port Townsend; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Canton of Washougal.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, 2333 San Juan Ave. in Port Townsend.

Arrangements are by the Neptune Society, Tacoma.
