Carmen Luna, 51, a 14-year East Wenatchee resident, passed away on July 1, 2013. He was born on December 27, 1961, to the late Carmen and Margarita (Espinoza) Luna in San Isidro, Michoacn, Mexico. Raised in Mexico, he began working seasonally at the age of eight. In early 1980, he moved to make his home in Manson, WA. He met Consuelo Rodriguez in Mexico and pursued and later married her on January 15, 1983, in Zamora, Michoacn, Mexico. They made their first home in Manson; moving to East Wenatchee in 1998. He became an orchard foreman and had worked at various orchards before working for Mike Addleman Orchards. He was a member of River of Life Four Square Church in Wenatchee. He enjoyed fishing, rodeos, horses and cattle. He had a passion for his job and always loved hanging with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Saul Luna. He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Luna, of East Wenatchee; daughters, Andrea Luna and husband Jaime Jimenez of East Wenatchee and Paulina Luna, of Wenatchee; siblings, Herminia (Rafael) Luna Anaya, CA, Zenaida (Benjamin) Luna, FL, Maria DeJesu (Raul) Cortez, CA, Lourdes (Refugio) Torres, of East Wenatchee, WA, Eva (Roberto) Anaya of Chelan, WA, Rafael (Chela) Luna, CA, Luis (Teresa) Luna of East Wenatchee, WA, Juana (Pascual) Rogriguez of Manson, WA, Graciela (Salvador) Diaz of Wenatchee, Antonio (Rosa) Luna of Manson, WA.
Viewing will take place on Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the River of Life Four Square Church, with Interment following at Evergreen Memorial Park.
