NCW — Jeremy Rosenau of Wenatchee won first place in firefighting at the National Leadership and Skills Conference and SkillsUSA Championship held June 26 and 27.
The firefighting competition was held at the Kansas City Fire Department’s Fire Academy in Kansas City, Mo.
Twin brother Lennon Rosenau of Wenatchee placed third in the competition. They are both 2013 Wenatchee High School graduates and the sons of Greg Rosenau of Wenatchee and Monique Rosenau of Wenatchee.
Both brothers are serving as resident volunteers at Grant County Fire District 3, Station 31 in Quincy.
