WENATCHEE — An attorney who prosecuted drunken driving offenses for the city of Wenatchee faces a hearing next month after his arrest on a DUI charge.

Sean R. Esworthy, 30, was pulled over just after midnight June 15 in the 100 block of North Wenatchee Avenue, after a Washington State Patrol trooper spotted him driving without headlights on Second Street. Esworthy showed signs of drunkenness including slurred speech, flushed skin, watery red eyes and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, the trooper said.
