Weather fit for the birds and bees may leave us humans looking for pools of cool water this weekend and beyond. Nothing but clear skies and above normal temperatures in the mid-90s are forecast through early next week for most of the region. National Weather Service forecasters say a flat, upper level ridge of high pressure will lock the warm, dry weather in. The high temperature could drop to the upper 80s by Wednesday. The warmest days should be today and Saturday, when Wenatchee is expected to hit 96 degrees. Lows will be in the mid 60s through the weekend. No rain is in the forecast.
