QUINCY — The man killed in a head-on crash on Highway 28 near Quincy Thursday evening was identified as David L. Castiglia, 50, of Moses Lake.
The Washington State Patrol initially withheld his name until his family could be notified.
The other driver — Ron M. Kincade, 32, of Yuma, Ariz. — was in critical condition at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee on Friday.
Kincade was driving west at about 6:05 p.m. about one-half mile east of Quincy when his 1996 Chevrolet Blazer crossed the centerline and struck a 2013 Dodge Dart, driven by Castiglia, the State Patrol report said.
He died at the scene, the report said.
Drugs or alcohol were involved, the State Patrol memo said.
