Donald Leroy Renschler

November 23, 1933 ~ June 26, 2013

Donald Leroy Renschler, 79, of East Wenatchee, WA, died on June 26, 2013. Don was born November 23, 1933, in Linton, ND and had lived in East Wenatchee for the last 40 years. He was the youngest of seven children born to John and Elizabeth Renschler. He attended Linton High School, entered the Army in 1950, and married Nancy Rands in 1962. Don had two children, Dave and Linda. He had three grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Jack, Ella and Evan. After the Army, Don had been an Electrical Linesman in Washington and Oregon.

Survivors include his children, David (Michelle) Renschler of Snohomish, WA and Linda (Steve) Rivedal of Moses Lake, WA; sister, Ruth May of Bismarck, ND; and brother, Ray (Myra) Renschler and sister-in-law, Delores Renschler, all of Linton, ND.

The family thanks both Dr. Robertson (and the Oncology staff) and Central Washington Hospice of Wenatchee for the care Don received.

A Private Family Graveside Service was held at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. A family Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s honor may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are assisted by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee. Sign Don’s online guestbook at www.telfordschapel.com.
