1937 ~ 2013

Gary W. Cusick, 75, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Wenatchee, WA. Gary graduated from Wenatchee High School, where he played on the school tennis team and later on the Central Washington University tennis team. In later years, it was golf with friends. He served active duty in the Marine Corps from 1955 to 1958 after reserves, with an Honorable Discharge in 1961. Gary married Sandra J. Cusick on June 17, 1961, (52 years together). Gary was past president of Active 20-30 Club, and was a member of East Wenatchee Rotary during the time “Gary’s Books and Gifts” was open. He was an original member of the Wenatchee Tennis Club. He retired Cusick’s Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his children, Eric (Jill) Cusick, Chris (Rhonda) Cusick, and Candace (Steve) Goulet; his mother, Maxine Cusick; and his three granddaughters, Samantha and Katelyn Cusick, and Renee; Goulet. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Cusick.

The family wishes to thank Central Washington Hospital and Davita Dialysis team for their caring treatment of Gary, and Dr. Houghland and Dr. Schulz at Wenatchee Valley Medical Center and Dr. Schroeder at the Foot & Ankle Center. Thanks for keeping Gary walking and reading all this time.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Jones & Jones~Betts Memorial Chapel, with a reception following the Service at the funeral home.
